Baalam Kernel 4.2 For Poco F3 (alioth)

Perquisites:

Before installing the Baalam Kernel on the Poco F3, the bootloader of your phone must be unlocked and a custom recovery (TWRP, Orange Fox) must be installed.

If you already unlocked the bootloader and installed Custom Recovery then you can proceed to the next steps.

How To Install Baalam Kernel in Poco F3

  1. At first get the Baalam Kernel for Poco F3 from this link.
  2. Boot your phone into the Recovery Mode by pressing and holding the Volume up and Power button at once.
  3. If you are using TWRP or Orange Fox, go to Install and select the Baalam_kernel.zip file.
  4. And then swipe right to start the flashing process.
  5. Then go to Wipe and select Delvik & Cache, then swipe right to wipe.

That’s it you have successfully installed the Baalam Kernel in your Poco F3 device.

Note: For safety you can take backup of your current kernel before flashing the Baalam Kernel. To to this follow below steps.

  • Go to Backup
  • Select boot, dtbo, and vendor_boot
  • Then swipe roght to take backup of the current kernel.

In case, if any error happens you can restore your current kernel by using this backup.

Supported Devices:

This tutorial and the Kernel is for Poco F3. But you can use this Kernel also in the Redmi K40, Mi 11x. Because the codename for these three devices is the same: “Alioth”.
